INHP President's Top 3 things to know about INHP

1. New Board Members Elected to INHP
INHP's Board of Directors has four new members. The new directors are Kelly Huntington, Senior Vice President & CFO of Indianapolis Power & Light; Scott Miller, President & CEO of Greater Indianapolis Chamber of Commerce; Tim Massey, Regional President of BMO Harris; and Michael Osborne, President of Near North Development Corporation. The additions will further diversify the outstanding talents and wide-ranging experience that our board of directors already brings to INHP. Each new board member is a respected and experienced leader, and together they will provide our board and management team with new insight and perspectives relating to INHP’s business and role in the community.

 2. INHP is Developing 5-Year Strategic Plan to Guide Future
INHP is in the midst of strategic planning for years 2013-2018 and is approaching it with much consideration, deep research and evaluation as it lays the groundwork for the organization’s future direction, aspirations and role in the community.  Because INHP understands that it is not isolated in its goal and that the work it does will have more energy, relevance and impact when it complements community initiatives, we have engaged leaders in the civic, government, nonprofit and philanthropic community in the planning process. This important step ultimately will help ensure the effectiveness of INHP’s strategic plan as well as the organization’s ability to reach more Indianapolis residents with its homeownership resources and provide the most meaningful support to the community in order to contribute to the preservation and growth of vibrant neighborhoods.

3. INHP Expands Presence with New Crooked Creek Office
In partnership with Crooked Creek Community Development Corporation, INHP is opening a satellite office in the “Hub” at 71st and Michigan Road. INHP will dedicate a homeownership advisor to the HUB and provide homeownership and financial education classes, along with mortgage and credit counseling for area residents.
