INHP serves working families in Indianapolis who want to become prepared and empowered for successful homeownership--for the long-term. Our programs aren't easy, and the families who complete our programs are determined, dedicated, and tenacious people. Your investment in INHP is an investment in a family's future.
During INHP's Fiscal Year 2010:
- 2,287 families received homeownership assistance from INHP
- 1,715 families graduated from INHP's education programs
- 212 families closed on a home purchase or home repair mortgage through INHP
- $15 million in INHP and community resources were invested in mortgage financing for INHP clients
- 94% of families who received an INHP mortgage had incomes of less than 80% of the area median income

Area Median Income (AMI) is determined annually by the US Department of Housing and Urban Development, based on georgraphic location and household size. According to 2011 AMI limits in Indianapolis, for example, a family of four with an income of $52,800 is at 80% of the Area Median Income.
