QUALIFICATIONS FOR SECTION 3 WORKERS OR BUSINESS CONCERN*


Income for the previous calendar year is below 80% of the area median income (AMI) Check limits.


Employed by a Section 3 Business Concern


YouthBuild participant 


Currently lives in federally funded or assisted housing (i.e., Section 8-assisted housing or public housing)


*A Section 3 Business Concern is defined as a business with at least 51% ownership and control by a person earning up to 80% of area median income; at least 51% ownership and control by a resident in public housing or Section 8 housing; or greater than 75% of labor hours performed throughout most recent past three months is conducted by Section 3 workers. [Section 3 of the Housing and Urban Development Act of 1968]
