INHP, in collaboration with other civic and neighborhood development initiatives, uses a layered approach to advance our mission and make a meaningful impact on affordable housing and quality of life in Indianapolis.

HOMEBUYER EDUCATION, ADVISING & LENDING

INHP’s Homeownership Preparation Program provides lowand moderate-income people with comprehensive, practical, goal-driven direction that empowers them to repair their credit, learn what to expect during the homebuying process, select a loan program and close on a home mortgage.

HOME REPAIR LOANS

INHP supports current homeowners and promotes neighborhood stabilization by providing resources to lowand moderate-income people to make home repairs, which helps them remain in their homes.

ABANDONED HOUSING RECLAMATION

INHP offers unique loan programs to incentivize revitalization efforts that turn distressed, vacant and abandoned properties into community assets.

PATIENT CAPITAL

INHP provides financing to nonprofit borrowers, which enables them to acquire, aggregate and hold sites to allow time for optimal strategic development.

STRATEGIC ACQUISITION FINANCING

SINGLE & MULTI-FAMILY CONSTRUCTION DEVELOPMENT FINANCING

INHP supports initiatives aimed at constructing or reconstructing safe, decent and affordable housing through commercial and consumer financing. Funds are deployed through INHP or one of our community partners.

INHP provides a range of grants to Marion County nonprofits dedicated to affordable housing activities and neighborhoodbased placemaking.

INHP offices closed
in observance of Thanksgiving

All INHP office locations will be closed starting at 2 p.m., Wednesday, Nov. 27, through Friday, Nov. 29. We will resume normal hours of operation at 8:30 a.m., Monday, Dec. 2, 2019.

 

All online services are still available, including:

  • Completing a registration form for our home purchase or home repair programs
  • Enrolling in an education class
  • Completing an online education course

INHP will respond to any inquiries or form submissions made via our website or email system in the order they were received after we reopen.
