INDIANAPOLIS (Feb. 2, 2024) – The Indianapolis Neighborhood Housing Partnership® (INHP) announces the hiring of Tanya Searcy to its executive leadership team as its new chief relationship officer.
Searcy joins INHP with more than 25 years of experience in a career spanning community relations, public relations, marketing and funds development. As chief relationship officer at INHP, she will be responsible for leading three departments: Philanthropic giving, marketing and communications, and a newly created community relations department.

Most recently, Searcy was the senior director of public relations at AES US Utilities, where she led the corporate social responsibility strategy for AES Indiana and Ohio markets. Throughout her seven years at AES, she developed and executed customer, stakeholder and corporate communications strategies to drive the utility’s partnerships in the community, subject matter expertise and engagement with customers. Prior to AES, Searcy held various roles at the Indianapolis Symphony Orchestra in corporate giving and partnerships, grants and foundations, and individual giving.
Searcy also is active on a wide range of community boards and committees, including the 2024 Olympic Swimming Trials Local Organizing Committee, Indianapolis Parks Alliance, Indiana Conference for Women, Indianapolis Public Safety Foundation, Center for Leadership Development, Rev Indy and International Society of Professional Females. She previously served on boards for Leadership Indianapolis, 500 Festival and Domestic Violence Institute. She is a graduate of the Stanley K. Lacy Executive Leadership Series. She resides in Indianapolis with her golden doodle, Roxy.
