GET HELP FINANCING YOUR HOME

Buy a home anywhere in Marion County, and you may qualify for $15,000 in down payment assistance. Or, buy a home within the designated area shown below, and you could qualify for $30,000 in down payment assistance.

OWN YOUR NEW HOME FASTER

INHP’s Mortgage Accelerator program helps you own your new home in as few as 20 years without a high interest rate or high monthly payment.

MAKE HOME REPAIRS

If you already own a home within the designated area shown below, use Anchor Housing funds to improve your home's exterior. Qualifying repairs may include siding, roof repairs, replacement windows, gutters and more.

PROGRAM DESIGNATED AREAS

Employees who live outside of Marion County and buy a home anywhere inside Marion County may qualify for $15,000 in down payment assistance. Or, buy a home inside the designated area below and you could receive $30,000 in down payment assistance. If you already own a home within the designated area below, you can use Anchor Housing funds to make exterior home repairs.

PROGRAM AVAILABILITY

The program is first-come, first-served. A limited number of forgivable home purchase loans or forgivable home repair loans are available.* Individuals may only participate in the program one time.

HOMEBUYER ASSISTANCE & ADVISING

If you are buying a home, unbiased loan officers will help you compare interest rates, down payment and loan terms so you can choose the right loan for you. If needed, INHP offers pre-purchase homeownership advising. Click here for information about advising and related costs.

HOMEBUYER EDUCATION REQUIREMENTS

Homebuyers using the program to purchase a home must take INHP’s Homebuyer Education Class. Click here for information about the class and related costs.

HOME REPAIR OVERSIGHT

Homeowners using the program for home repairs may qualify to receive help from INHP to select contractors. INHP also will help make sure the contractor completed the work proposed. Click here to see what to expect.

INHP office holiday hours

Starting Dec. 25, 2019, through Jan. 1, 2020, all INHP office locations will be closed for the holidays. We will resume normal hours of operation at 8:30 a.m., Jan. 2, 2020.

 

INHP will respond to any inquiries or form submissions made via our website or email system in the order they were received after we reopen. If you do not hear from an INHP representative by Jan. 9, 2020, please call 317-610-4663.

Due to inclement weather, all INHP office locations are closed until 10 a.m., Dec. 17. At this time, staff are not able to answer phone calls; however, you may still use our online services, including:

  • Completing an online form for our home purchase or home repair programs
  • Registering for an INHP education course
  • Taking an online education course
